Mission statement type thing.

In light of the rather critical anon from a few days ago, and because of all of our new (LOVELY) followers, I just wanted to make sure everyone knew what FMCOT’s main purpose and goal and blah blah blah official stuff.

We are NOT a fuck yeah for tea. And we have never claimed to be tea experts. I started this blog a few months ago to document my “spiritual journey” as I discovered the wonderful world of tea. Now, some people have stated that we only ever blog about “store brand teas” and “crap tea”. Ladies and gentlefollowers, I give you the responses to my question from the other night- “What are you drinking tonight?”

As you can see, the majority of the responses are store brand box teas, or “crap tea” as the anons like to call it. Clearly, the followers of this blog might not be able to afford some of the “real” teas out there, and might want to hear more about the “crap” they buy.

I didn’t mean to get so snarky about this. I guess what I’m trying to say is, a lot of FMCOT’s followers enjoy simple tea you can buy at a grocery store. And so, we will continue to blog about those teas, and periodically break it up with pictures and different recommendations.

But the main focus will be on any new teas Davis and I try, or any questions/opinions we want from y’all. :) This is a blog by tea-drinking college students, for tea-drinking college students (or those on a broke student’s budget). We will experiment with box teas or some inexpensive loose leaf. If you don’t like the kinds of teas we post about, that’s your prerogative. I’m sure there’s another blog out there just for you. :)

Have a good one, guys!
