If you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or nursing:
DO NOT DRINK TEA WITH HIBISCUS, ROSE HIPS OR CHAMOMILE.

Hibiscus and rose hips may cause you to get a period/cause cramping; and chamomile is also unadvisable.
Also, dried ginger may not be advisable; but fresh is good for relieving nausea. And avoid anything that is a “natural antidepressant.” E.g. St. Johns wort, kava and bergamot.

This looks really cool and all, but storing your tea in clear jars (air tight or not) is a bad idea if you want it to stay fresh. Light bleaches the nutrients and taste right out of your tea.
Err on the safe side and always store your tea in an air-tight AND light-tight container! Teavana sells them in 8oz and full pound (16oz) sizes for $6 or $7 respectively.

Drinking some Peachberry Jasmine Sutra green tea from Teavana to brighten my morning.

I barely slept last night so I need something to keep me alert and happy!

What’s your favorite kind of green tea?

And, since I work at a tea store and stuff I really hope I can contribute SOMETHING special here.

So, uhm, being the resident tea expert, as Abby has called me, anyone want to ask some questions?

So, I am REALLY astounded at the fact that my random ass post of a picture of  tea bags has made such a statement that it is deserving of almost 7,000 notes.
I’m super excited that everyone liked it so much, but I’m also wondering how it was so important that it warranted that much attention. Oh well. I’ll sit back and enjoy some glory in my awesome.
I’m REALLY glad to be back guys :)

back in April, Abby bought me the BEST BEST BEST birthday present in the world:

A BIGELOW TEA GIFT SELECTION BOX!

It had like….20 kinds of tea. It is GLORIOUS!

To name a few it has:

  • Green Tea
  • Green Tea with Lemon
  • Green Tea with Peach
  • English Tea Time
  • Vanilla Carmel Tea
  • Spiced Chai
  • Pomegranate Pizzazz
  • Orange & Spice
  • Mint Medley
  • Decaf Constant Comment
  • Regular Constant Comment
  • Decaf Lemon Lift
  • Decaf English Tea Time
  • and a whole bunch more of awesome teas.

Because of meds I’m on I can’t drink caffeine after 6pm because it keeps me up all night and Abby was super considerate and bought me a sampler with decaf and herbals so I can enjoy her gift at ANY time of the day.

Lemon Lift is my second fave lemon tea (to I Love Lemon which I can’t find anywhere but online D:) and to have it in decaf (which isnt sold in stores) is AMAZING!!

Also, the Vanilla Carmel tea is DELICIOUS! Some sugar and vanilla cream and it tastes like dessert in a cup!!!! :D
